It is a documentary that explicitly unmasks the links of the patriarchy with militarism and religion, as well as jihadism, making you question the meaning of childhood. What is being a child? How do its meanings differ geographically? I did not like to watch some scenes because of the violence, although I appreciated the points that they highlighted. Moreover, it left some unanswered questions regarding the methodology of recording such a documentary in Syria. Lastly, I found some dialogues interesting in this documentary produced in 2017 when I thought of the current situation…
