I think the movie tries to do a bit too much in terms of social commentary. There are scenes that are incredibly powerful and then some that are just a bit too on the nose. Overall a decent watch with an interesting message depending on how people interpret it.

Just Go with It 2011
What can I say, I have a soft spot for Adam Sandler movies. Yes, they have foreseeable storylines. No, they are not cinematic masterpieces. However I think it is importantly to lean into the enjoyment of simpler comedies at times because at the end of the day movies are for entertainment.
The biggest mark against this movie is the poor acting by Brooklyn Decker. She took on a bit of a one-dimensional “the younger girl” character that there really wasn’t much depth to.
That said, the movie had me laughing throughout and is the epitome of easy-watching.
