Watching this reminds me why I don’t watch horror movies. The amount of body horror was actually insane… both agreed it was a solid 3/5

surface level better then the first but too much body horror. I really enjoyed the messaging (or at least my interpretation of it) about how the lack of support systems that can get created by people who have a constant need to perform (tldr kinda saying if we’re not doing something constructive we’re unworthy of living). Inglourious Basterds 2009
Inglorious Bastards is a cool WWII flick with some awesome camera work and really solid dialogue. Tarantino's characters are memorable, and the actors really nail their roles. Sometimes the film occasionally meanders, losing a bit of momentum along the way. and at times i did find the film's nonlinear storytelling style confusing, which took a bit away from film, but overall it's a really interesting movie that kept me really into it from start to finish. :)
