  i loved this movie the first time i watched it. i loved the vibe and cinematography- it’s a cool concept over all - but after rewatching i noticed so much racism and xenophobia sprinkled into it, like there were so many weird jokes and comments all throughout the movie. i’m guessing they were “a production of its time” but that’s no excuse. now i need to watch “Her” so i can compare.
