The Host 2006
Entire life spent watching movies, never seen anyone make throwing a molotov cocktail look as fucking badass as shown here. Gotta say, it's much better on rewatch, as the movie feels meandering if you don't know where it's going.

Kurosawa could've just told a simple straightforward tearjerker and could have done it very effectively. Takashi Shimura will always be one of the greatest actors to have ever lived and his performance would have been enough to carry this. But this motherfucker was anything but simple.
