Mickey 17 2025
Darkly hilarious, beautifully directed, and politically as subtle as the literal brick they store Mickey's memories in. Robert Pattinson is excellent as probably the most pathetic sopping-wet-cat of a man I have ever seen on the big screen, and the rest of the cast turn in pitch-perfect and memorable performances. God I can only dream of meeting a woman like Nasha (Naomi Ackie).
That said it did feel like the story took a turn for the dramatic in the third…

A classic Noir detective story. Beautifully witty, excellently paced, and so full of twists and turns that by the end you'll likely have no idea who did what to who and why and you won't care a jot.
