Anora 2024
But like what’s the point. You don’t learn anything about Anora outside the marriage. It goes just about how you expect it to and there’s nothing really to sink your teeth into. There’s no character development for Anora except I guess she wants a nice lifestyle but no backstory or insight to anything else. Granted I did laugh at parts but overall I just didn’t get much out of it. I’m still not entirely sure what I was suppose to get out of it. I wouldn’t say it’s bad, I’m just like why.

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre 1974
A Masterpiece. My favorite Horror Movie of all time. It’s so visceral, raw, gritty and amazingly believable. The concept is terrifying and the true components it takes from Ed Gein makes you shudder when you see what was actually real. It feels very home made but in the same breath the cinematography is gorgeous, the shot set ups and direction are excellent. Thanksgiving 2023
This was a really fun time at the movies. The Thanksgiving theme was used excellently and seeing on the actual holiday was a nice touch. It might have been left over edible high from lunch but this had a good bit of tension / tense scenes through out and it made me jump which is rare nowadays. Done in the vein of early 80s grindhouse slashers mixed with the 90s slasher resurgence and a dash of the 00s slasher remakes.…
