I can't hear the song Why Can't We Be Friends without remembering this little Oscar winning feature that played before Men in Black II. I wish the tradition of pairing these pre-film shorts stuck around outside the mainstay animation studios.

One Hundred and One Nights 1995
One of the greats in the pantheon of love letters to cinema, One Hundred and One Nights celebrates a century of film with Varda's playful eye for movement, color, and romance. Though distinctly Varda in its charms, it strikes me as a completely unique entry in her filmography. It's a warm blanket of a film of ever there was one, and fans of the medium should consider it essential viewing.

The Breadwinner 2017
I understand that it's a children's movie but I take a lot of issues with the way this story is told. Some of those can be forgiven by the medium and intended audience, like the hamfisted exposition.
