  Can’t believe I hadn’t seen this before, but now I can truly claim to be a cinephile; while I’ve seen a million satires/political comedies just like this, it’s fascinating to watch the OG material they’ve all taken cues from 

  Every performance in this is god-tier, and Kubrick’s direction seems effortlessly masterful, no other notes

  Now I really want to make an edit of Mandrake and Ripper hip-firing the machine gun with Rooster playing in the background
