awesomesauce. genuinely really good highschool movie, started out cheesy but took a lot of turns i did not expect with really great characters. uhhh id place it somewhere near edge of seventeen on my hypothetical highschool movie list. i think the message is also an actually important one for teens to hear, it's no one's business when and how you lose your virginity ! showed feminist themes and ideas really well too without compromise and without giving itself a huge distracting pat on the back for doing so like some later highschool movies can tend towards doing. not transformative, but really good

(go into it expecting a Disney channel movie) Like a sweet fine wine if you like cheesy high school movies. Really sweet premise that actually feels like it teaches some real messages about high school and not judging people. You come out of it having some newfound respect for humanity.
