this movie made me really emotional and i’m not really sure why. i loved lady bird’s character just because i loved her eccentricity and mildly spiteful charisma. i sympathize with angry girls because i’m a really angry girl. i loved the portrayal of really meaningful friendships despite unsavory situations. i really liked danny. danny made me cry. “it’s just that i respect you too much for that.” i wish more guys were like that. like the attraction is definitely there…
