  I think every movie should allow a Willem Dafoe monologue where he yells about insane things. Eggers is the only director who allows this consistently. 

  I loved this movie. It’s everything I wanted from vampire folk tales. Eggers’ camera work and lighting are fantastic, everything is so real looking and feeling.

  I don't think I would have ever expected a film with so many main characters to not only flesh each one of them out, but to make me care deeply about them. Give Paul Thomas Anderson a budget forever, all of our military budget is instead given to him to make more movies
