I really didn't expect to like this movie so much. The beginning felt slow and a little tedious, but it set the stage for what kind of life Ani has. Once it got past all the setup, sex, and partying, the real movie begins. Even right from the beginning, the dialogue felt organic and genuine, and the acting itself made me believe I was watching a documentary rather than a scripted movie. The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou 2004
Probably my favorite Wes Anderson film, although I feel like I say that after watching every one of his films. I really enjoyed the character development of zissou throughout the film and Bill Murray's performance as the character was quite good. I liked the philipino pirates, for some reason that part of the film stuck out to me, and I liked the brief action sequences with them on the boat and later on the island. All in all another greatly enjoyable Wes Anderson film.

I unironically love this movie in all it's horrendousness.
Most of the criticism of this movie is more of a criticism of Doom 3, which was the main inspiration for this movie since it had more of a story and setting than the first two games.
