  I understand this is an important movie to film history and shit, and I assume watching it in theaters was very different. The egregious and disgusting scenes of underage girls made much of it hard to watch. I would still watch again--I know every time I watch, I will want it to end differently and for things to be better for Carrie--but only under specific circumstances.

  i think this is my new favourite movie. the most heartwarming, sweet and silly scenes are juxtaposed with horrifying and very real shit. ill be telling everyone about it for the rest of time
