  This movie was such a missed opportunity. I loved The Grabber and the premise, it just needed more horror. A background to The Grabber would have been great. More gore. More shock.

  I thought Texas Chainsaw Massacre was a good requel. It was very gory, and I enjoyed it. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the storyline. I think we could’ve went without the school shooting references. I also hate when horror movies include social media, especially in this movie, it just felt out of place. The gore is really all this has going for it, but it’s entertaining so I can’t be mad. I just wish people could make horror remakes modern, without making them weird.

  I loved this movie for what it was. I really enjoyed the references to original. Everything from the opening scene, the horror movie talk, the self-awareness, and of course the legacy characters. The Ghostface killers were a little predictable but I just liked that they were realistic. The acting was on point, especially Jenna Ortega. Scream did not disappoint.
