Whilst it's nice to see Star Trek continue to experiment with new ideas and concepts, this manages to miss pretty much everything that makes Star Trek, Star Trek.
We're given no real time to explore the new characters introduced and even Georgiou only gets a tiny bit of back story that turns into a massive waste in the end and very off brand for her character. This feels especially egregious when they went to the trouble of including Garrett. Why…

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 2023
Probably up there as one of my favourite Marvel films to date, leaves a gaping chasm between itself and the rest of the latest Marvel fair in terms of quality.
Adam Warlock felt slightly wasted but I hope they do more with him in the future.
