  It’s like if Gregg Araki was asked to make a Scary Movie franchise film, but in Japan.

  From kaleidoscopic special effects to cartoonish violence, House feels more like a fever dream than a traditional narrative film. The director’s creative use of colours, editing, and practical effects kept me in a state of awe and confusion.
