Meteor 1979
OK, OK, this was a big flop at the time for a reason. It is a formulaic disaster movie light on script, creativity, or exciting dialogue. And the purpose of Sean Connery’s character feels stuffed in for coolness alone, as the former NASA scientist and MIT professor, who, somehow, is the only one in the US capable of charming the USSR into uniting for a common cause. It’s silly.
BUT, this 2.5 star movie becomes a 3 if you watch…
