  The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2023

  Big wahoo yippe let’s a go movie! It’s an absolute blast of a film. 

  The music is a standout in this film when they stick to the remixes of all the Nintendo music just constantly bombarding you with that Mario goodness 

  I think a few characters are a tad underused in this film and would’ve definitely benefited from more screen time but I mean yeah holy shit somehow illumination didn’t fuck this up! Hope this inspires them to release more banger movies and for Nintendo to give similar treatments to some of their other IPs

  Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves 2023

  ★★★★ Watched 01 Apr 2023

  I was super hyped for this films release and I’m happy to say it did not disappoint! 

  While not a master piece by any means it really did manage to capture a part of that magic you feel when sitting down and playing a game with friends! 

  The action is great, the dry humour hits well in a lot of places and there’s a lot of neat references for those who know their D&D stuff.

  I mean it’s your classic Pokémon anime shenanigans but for some reason they decided to put some crazy quotes in here about the purpose of life??? 

  Plus Ash sees a being claiming to be the strongest Pokémon and straight up tries to punch it so yeah pretty good film

  In Bruges 2008

  This film really hit different for me 

  Really enjoyed just how close knit the entire film felt. gave it time to explore the relationships between the characters and gets you to care about what’s going to happen next. 

  The dialogue in this film is also really funny love just how plainly they speak to each other. 

  It also technically counts as a Christmas film so yeah top 10 Christmas film for sure :)
