Opus 2025
If Ayo Edebiri is on screen i am sat. loved her in this. Maybe it’s because the genre of cult horror is completely over saturated recently but this felt like a weak amalgamation of better films. I enjoyed the weird and eerie atmosphere, lighting and cinematography, plus Ayo and Malkovich stole the show (i would rate this lower if not for them) but the films themes and ideas were introduced and never explored to a satisfying conclusion aside from a spew of dialogue from Malkovich near the end. it all felt very surface level and left me wishing there was more.
