This documentary shows how LGBT people used balls to create a sense of community and help them face prejudice and discrimination. These events also have an escapist function, as they allow people to be anything they want, even if, in real life, they don’t have the same opportunities as everybody else.
It made me feel sad to see so much talent, passion, and ambition being wasted just because of these men’s sexual orientation.

It has a profound critique. And I understand it.
The visual effects are really great, very well executed and used to increase and enchance the understatement of the critique.

I liked it.
The movie is a musical, and I found this concept quite interesting, since both Joker and Harley Quinn are delusional and believe they are in an eternal performance.
I must admit that the director has absolutely nothing new to tell, and everything that happens in this movie revolves around what happened in the first one. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but if you go in expecting a new narrative, you will be disappointed.
