  definitely hit me way harder the second time. i think i needed to watch it again and not try so hard to insert my own feelings into the feelings of the characters. HOWEVER, i did feel like the first time i watched this i was trying to see myself NOW as how the characters were feeling, but really it was much more like myself 10 years ago. self suppression is so fucking powerful and feelings and identity are really scary and everything made so much more sense this time because i wasn’t trying too hard to understand it.
