Memoir of a Snail 2024

Such a beautiful, thoughtful and sweet film. My friends left to get Taco Bell 30 minutes before it ended. The cry I had finishing this one was something similar to a bite into a crunch wrap supreme drowned in fire sauce on a drunk night.

Compliance 2012
This is one of, if not the most uncomfortable film I’ve ever seen. It’s sickening, and not in a graphic ‘Human Centipede’ or ‘A Syrbian Film’ way. Watching ‘Compliance’ is an hour and a half of physiological torment that never lets up, only continues to escalate. Another Earth 2011
Simple, yet profound science fiction and an interesting take on it at that. Add in some background of what it means to be human; to fail, to try, to fail again, to give up, to love, to let go, to forgive and you have this film. Brit Marling is both gorgeous and an incredibly talented actress/writer that I've only just stumbled upon. Excited to delve into the 'The East' and 'The Sound of my Voice' next. If you haven't seen this movie, do so soon.
