  I don’t understand why this move didn’t get more attention when it came out.  It’s a really engaging story.  All the characters are complex and flawed.  The story is of the moment, and a star packed cast with great performances.  It’s my 3rd or 4th time watching and I’m still drawn in and moved.

  This really worked for me!  It was so slapstick and didn’t take itself seriously at all.  I feel like Osgood struggles with plotting and tone, but I think by adding the comedy component he’s found his sweet spot.  Honestly love the message/themes about how fathers stick you with all this trauma in life and also the randomness of death and how  both things shape how you live in the world.
