  Damn, I was looking forward to this. It may have been external factors affecting me but it did not live up to the hype for me. It was a well crafted and intriguing premise but the odd dialogue kept taking me out of the film and I felt it was occasionally too heavy on the exposition and narration. The script needed more work in making everything more smooth.

  While I enjoyed this film, it did have a major tonal issue, in that it could not decide if it wanted to be straight or silly. This was a huge shame because the actors seemed just as confused sometimes. A move further to silly and comedy would have been excellent because the weird dance/'playing' scenes were by far my favourite.   It was 3 stars but the ending was so unsettling I had to add a half star. Then another half star for committing so admirably to the 1970s aesthetic. But I do think that's a lot in part to the veryyy low budget which is pretty apparent throughout. Also the endless studio logos at the start made me laugh, however unintentionally.
