While not perfect, this movie is just a really entertaining action film that foreshadows, hopefully, a return for the MCU.

Genre defining. Coincidentally came out the same year the walking dead comics were being made and published. They are both strikingly similar, so if you’re a fan of walking dead, this is peak viewing. I will also add that train to Busan follows the same genre beats that were established by this brilliant survival horror film. It leaves the audience to make the moral judgements. Like holding a mirror to humanity, this film is extremely honest. At the same time, this film is a film - it’s entertaining and meticulously crafted. It’s just phenomenal. If you like succession or any other movie or tv show of that genre, you will love this.
