Thelma 2024
Every now and then, it is necessary to watch a film that is just full of tenderness, optimism and nonsense. Thelma is a love letter to grandmothers, and although I didn't have such a figure in my life, I could feel their warmth and affection, the director does an excellent job in transmitting this wave of emotions. I could understand this and see it in my own mother, at the end I just wanted to hug her.

I was really stressed abour how many times this cat fell into the water, once i got over that, I just wanted to hug every animal while I refelected on my inability to move on or to make better lifechoices. At the end I guess it´s really about the disfuncional friends we make along the way.
On another note I´m so excited for that animation has offered the last couple of years, and by how the audience is finally embracing and praising this form of cinema.
