My Mistress 2014
PERFECTLY PACED. might be my new favorite, despite the open sexuality of it all, the message and ending is amazing - people are saddened by the lack of bdsm/sexual scenes and its delivery, but im all here for the emotion and not the sex. i will say the bdsm scenes are a bit tossed, and the fact that hes a child is repulsing when reminded………..but other than that, 10/10
how two characters display different phases of grief, overcome by troubles - they find each other and make it work - i LOVE it.

Madame Butterfly 1995
There are many Madame Butterfly's, but until I watch the rest of them, I think that this is my favorite one. I have only seen one other version of this opera, and it was played by an all-white casting. Not that it was a problem, but to see it acted out based upon the people it was really about, with sets on point, it made everything better. It tells a true and pragmatic tale about how unrequited love can go…
