The Haunting of Hill House 2018
ive never seen a better example of how audio can ruin scares. There were so many moments that could have been genuinely frightening, had the show not blasted a screeching blast of synth into my ears to tell me it’s scary. Its the horror equivalent of an unnecessary laugh track.
