Caravaggio 1986
I have always found Caravaggio's work to convey a tone of subtle, intimate ferocity. Like the scene happening is awfully quiet, and there is nothing you can do to stop it. I did not enjoy the movie at its proper value, but the tense atmosphere and the whimsical sensuality gave me similar feelings to his paintings. This is the kind of film that you feel. Not watch.
