an out-there, but beautiful, bittersweet ending to fullmetal alchemist 2003. fma 03 was always hurdling towards an unhappy ending, and always had the message that life is not fair, and equivalent exchange is not the truth of the world. we as the viewer grow to realize this along with edward and alphonse.

Good schlocky movie. Stupid but fun. Doesn't take itself too seriously, and the giant bug transformations and costumes are well done. Little satirical, little environmentalist message, big anti-nuclear message but it was made in the late 80s, big pro-bug message.
