A Real Pain 2024
This is another one of those movies that I was really impressed by and then just disappointed by the ending. Idk if I'm just too simple minded or if I demand too much, but I need proper closure at the end of a film. I don't want to be left guessing or to interpret anything. It's just not how I like my movies. With that being said... jesus christ was Kieran culkin fan-fucking-tastic in this. I found myself crying at multiple times during the film and sometimes it was just because of the look on his face. These guys did a wonderful job.

I would say that the first 2/3 of this movie were incredible. I was obsessed with the dialog and the scripting for so much of it and was really impressed. Especially impressed with the acting, I can't believe i haven't seen these girls in anything before. And I honestly think this is the first time I've seen hugh grant in a film and thought wow he's really great. Some things started to fall apart for me toward the end tho and it got a little bit silly for me.

Road House 2024
Holy shit. I had no idea what to expect as I've never seen Patrick Swayze's, but this did. not. disappoint. I think the only thing I didn't care for was relationship between Dalton and Ellie - a little forced. From the crocodile to the fight scenes to the murders to the seriously fucked up Dalton and Conor McGregor - I cannot recommend this more.
