Tomie 1998
I did not expect to like this movie before AND after I watched it, but I did.
The first thing I want to say is that it's a beautiful-looking movie. The cinematography is excellent. The colors are very pleasant. The usage of long, uncut, and mostly static shots is great and it adds to the tension.
Long one-take scenes need good acting, while this movie doesn't have terrible acting, I think that it's just "okay", with the exception of Miho…

Junji Ito Maniac: Japanese Tales of the Macabre 2023
I was nearly sure that this wouldn't work out after seeing the previous Junji Ito anthology adaptation which was made by the same studio a few years ago but surprisingly I enjoyed it a lot more.
The way it's directed is a huge improvement. It's more stylistic and vibrant, especially for an anthology format. Not all, but some episodes are different than others. Color palettes changes, ratio format changes... These are cool things that refreshes the thing you are watching…

My Hero Academia: Training of the Dead 2017
I LOVE Tsuyu and her FROG FAMILY. But I couldn't care less about her lizard friend I'm sorry. If she was mentioned A SINGLE TIME in the series, maybe I would. This OVA was dumb. That zombie quirk is too stupid, overpowered and DANGEROUS to be ignored in this universe but naming the one with that quirk "Romero" was cool. 5/10.

Psycho BFF 2019
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
This felt like a long Dhar Mann video. Acting is terribe. Story and characters don't make any sense and they increasingly become more deranged. Whoever wrote this dialoge was probably born as a middle-aged human. This is a 90 minute long red flag showcase but sadly our protagonist doesn't figure that out until there is a gun pointed at her face. This is one of those movies that has two names. The other one is "American Psychos". Jesus Christ. 1/10.
