I wasn’t expecting to like this as much as I did it is usually not my sort of film but it exceeded my expectations I think the pacing was well set out you constantly wanted to find out character decisions and where they end up. Very mixed feelings I really liked the concept and I found most of what I saw entertaining especially the third act my two complaints were that the dialogue is bad for the majority I winced a few times honestly and I think the theme of the value of the life of something that isn’t human was very surface level in my opinion it could of been more.
But yeah this was fun I enjoyed it I think this was overly hyped to me by people I have spoken to and maybe that’s why it just didn’t click the same.

Probably one of the best first episodes I’ve ever watched for a series it has been spectacular. Colin Farrell smashed it as The Penguin his character has really expanded and grew since the first Batman film. My favourite new character is Cristin Milioti’s Sofia Falcone she is already presenting herself as a formidable antagonist and she stole every scene she was in. I really can’t wait for the rest of this series to flourish and I’m so interested how much more they can expand the characters and this universe.
