This type of satire might have felt revolutionary or at least novel back in 1979, but I watched it in 2025, years after seeing Forest Gump and Bullworth and the dozens of other movies and tv shows that have borrowed from it. The comedy is lacking and the message that idiots run the country seems laughably quaint these days. Shirley MacLaine jerking off while Peter Sellers does yoga was fun!
