My opinion is definitely infected by my love of the books but this movie was a huge disappointment. Timothee Chalamet is a fairly disappointing actor at this point, he can really only do one thing which is stare wistfully while looking hot. Unfortunately that means he is totally unbelievable as an action lead. The dialogue in this is atrocious, the books are incredible because the dialogue feels so foreign and alien, everyone feels like they're planning every word they say…
