I actually really enjoyed this. Everyone’s relationship in this movie was so toxic, but that’s also why it was so entertaining.
I also don’t remember Javier Bardem being this handsome? I’m so used to him being in serial killer roles these days.
Additionally, I loved Penelope Cruz’s character in this. There were a couple times the movie went a direction I didn’t expect and it was always because of her. Anyways, I really liked this movie even though it wasn’t I expected!

I liked how the movie was shot, and some of the dialogue was pretty good.
I really related to some aspects of Jessie Eisenberg’s character in this and felt sorry for both him and his cousin. I honestly can’t conceive what it would be like to have bipolar disorder.
It seems like the type of movie the Oscars would slobber over, but I don’t think I got the hype as much. Although there were a couple emotional moments where I came really close to crying.
This is the REAL Seal Team 6. With twists and turns so sharp, only weaponized, talking guinea pigs can take them. When a villainous mole betrays the team, they realize an outsider never should have been trusted. This movie is the reason I bought a hamster as a child (I was an uncultured swine and didn’t know the difference). Unfortunately, he was not a CIA operative and he died within the next three weeks. This is why I see movies.
(Apart from buying a hamster and it’s subsequent death, this review was entirely sarcastic)
