Mickey 17 2025
Extremely irreverent and not subtle at all social commentary on the struggle of the working class. Bong Joon-Ho does it again and somehow manages to keep the recurring themes in his work from getting stale. Robert Pattinson’s performance in such a quirky and challenging role really sold the film for me. There is a particular scene with two Mickey’s that made me genuinely forget for a moment that both were just Pattinson giving a delivery on camera. I can’t imagine what his process must have looked like. All in all I really enjoyed this film and I hope that Bong Jon-Ho keeps making bangers

Didn’t speak to me. Sort of uninspired and all over the place. The fucking transitions in the edit were extremely jarring and made the whole thing feel like a commercial. A Complete Unknown 2024
I am still shocked by how good Timmy Tim’s range is. He has impeccable chops in this film, closing out 2024 with another banger. He sounds so much like Bob Dylan as well, it’s kinda freaky. Definitely worth the watch, super entertaining.
