  Second watch, first after finishing the book and it’s much better than remembered. I still believe that going into this blind makes for a mediocre viewing, but frank Herbert has created a beautiful world and each actor and actress delivers in spades. 

  My biggest complaint is how much the movie gasses up the sand worms when in the book you’ve barely encountered them at this point. 

  PS Oscar Isaac could get it…

  Decent suspense and a cool scary monster but the side plots never were explored and kinda fell flat. I kept waiting for them to say “antlers” but was seriously let down.
