coming from someone that doesn’t love horror movies, this was GREAT. a plot and commentary driven horror/psyhological thriller that’s a bit of a slow burn, but i thought that really added to it. it made me so tense throughout the entirety of the movie. there were some stellar performances in this, especially from hugh grant. it tackled some complex ideas around religion and control, and i thought it executed it pretty well. totally recommend it
