  “My little princess.”

  Intrinsically moved by the performance and dance, the graceful ballerina. Natalie Portman’s finest frail, obsessive, and starved for perfection. The eating disorder isn’t subtext, it’s the backbone of her performance. I’ve attempted to watch this film for about 6 years now, never saw it in finality.

  mad interesting. this doc was recommended on youtube. really cool, authentic fisheye, rugged pov of a place in time. recommend this to anyone with an hour to spare. editing kinda reminds me of early Jeff Tremaine days.

  Emmanuel Lubezki aka Chivo at his finest. 35 mil 4 perf. Zeiss master primes. Sequences in 65mm. Panavision and Arri camera units, what els could ask for ? I do hope the Criterion rescans this, will we see The Tree of Life in 4K? This will push raw film negatives to their limits. And what a rapture life can be ? Terry doesn’t disappoint. Another impromptu non scripted masterpiece. Alongside Knight of Cups, of which I loved also. I opted to purchase this film since it’s distribution limitation. A work of art. I have nothing els to say, but well done.
