Was not what I expected and couldn’t have been more pleased. There are so many great messages and undertones in this movie. The representation of so many different themes is amazing.
Made me mourn for my lack of experiencing “girlhood”.

There’s a reason why this won so many awards. The performances are absolutely incredible. I was captivated the whole time, while also mildly uncomfortable which I think was the point? Idk maybe that makes me an awful person.
The only thing I thought was a bit odd was how abrupt the ending felt, but then again death is very abrupt. Idk I feel like they could’ve portrayed it better than a fade to white?Translated from by -
