I perceive this film personally as a metaphor for addiction or toxic love for something or someone in the sense that humans crave love and affection, and when they get that mutually or non mutually it will eventually end with someone sacrificing everything for what they love in one way or another. Cannibalism is a form of that, it’s an unhealthy version of all consuming love/addiction. I think bones and all is the strongest piece of media we have today…
