  This movie's a complete waste. The first hour Nothing happens except some messy scenes and a pointless proposal.

  We get zero background on the main character - just a couple random hints about her family. Her choices make no sense at all.

  When it finally tries to be "funny", it's too late to care. With this awful script and basic direction, nothing could save it.
  Literally like watching a cartoon character.

  coulda easily been 90 mins max with a tighter story and way less unnecessary spicy scenes but seems like they thought those scenes WERE the whole movie.

  In the fun side, it's got beautiful colors, beautiful actors, beautiful scenery, random musical (which I found some of it terrible), sequence meta-humor that plays with Hollywood traditions, and comic books, French Pulp novels. But all of that fun, the plot is of the least interest in this film. The story is absurd and feels like a road runner cartoon than a film noir. Just when it begins to feel aimless and ditzy, it brings up these relevant philosophical musings…

Following
