La La Land 2016
I think for me this film has a really interesting and well executed story. The real tale of a modern love story, where the pursuit of happiness takes two different paths. Both characters lose their way at some point and need one another to set them along the right path but in the success of their dreams they sacrifice each other. The final sequence will never fail to drag a tear. Ryan gosling is amazing.

Found the film visually very nice to watch. Think the story was interesting and the way it drip fed context was very smart. This paired with some good acting made me really enjoy the film but felt Casey Affleck’s character lacked the arch I was personally looking for.
