  Rewatched the 1h30 pilot again, on a big TV. Stunning. Just incredible. The pacing, the music, the characters, the actors, the pans, the melodrama, the colours, the traffic lights changing in pitch black. (Early) Lynch is the master! of the freaky soap-opera, of the sappiest music you've ever heard playing over someone silently weeping-screaming. James! James! Honestly I teared up this time. Pure TV, pure cinema!!!

  A lot of fun and constantly surprising. Ryan Gosling is very funny, his best performance that I've seen.
  She did it. I was just thinking last night about what Greta has done here. I mean she has really swept in and conquered (and that was before I saw the audience reaction). I wonder what it feels like. I don't think there's any woman who has had this crazy…
