The Banshees of Inisherin 2022
Watching all these islanders exist slowly drove me insane just like they would from the mundane life that is living on a tiny island. This movie really highlights the loneliness one feels to lose their friends, and coping mechanisms one can take when it comes to rejection sensitivity. Even smaller side characters have their own idiosyncrasies to help them feel like they aren’t whittling their lives away, marching towards their death.
