  Steven Soderbergh really did something quite special by having the audience share the same POV as the spirit lurking throughout this movie and that’s about as much as I liked.

  I found the movie to kind of drag on a bit, others will most likely enjoy it but it is definitely not “the scariest movie of the year”.

  I was a big fan of this movie.

  The cinematography was truly amazing to me, a lot of homages to other movies (I’m sure I’m not the only one who picked up on this?)

  There’s a real powerful message to this movie as well that truly shines a light on how women are treated every day of their lives. 

  I also thought the  sound design really added to the overall message of the movie as well.

  The ending for me did however become somewhat of a caricature of itself but didn’t let that stop me from truly appreciating every little thing about this movie.
