  Jane Fonda plays a woman who has been with thousands of men, but she has never really been with a man. Private detective Donald Sutherland steps in and her character who feels she is always in control is suddenly overcome with emotions that are completely alien to her. 

  This however is merely a sub-plot to an ongoing investigation that fills both us the viewer and Fonda herself with fear and paranoia throughout. The use of the camera and the score…
