After watching the original, I was keen to revisit this one again. I have such a soft spot for this film; it was my first true exposure to the character and mythos of Superman. A funny and enjoyable watch. As someone who doesn’t have nostalgia for the original cast of SNL, I think some of the references went over my head. That said, it’s still a breezy, quick-paced film. The ensemble hits it out of the park with no weak links. Definitely not a bad time at the theater.
